Sometimes, with Violet spending such a great deal of time in her own world, Ben and I wonder (and, ok, worry) about whether or not she's happy.
Sometimes, we just know she is.

Especially when it's bought with a gift card that's only days from expiring, and includes hot stones and massaging chairs!
34. gingerman houses
that's what we call them in our house, as in, "you can't catch me, I'm the ginger-r-man!".
We tried to make them today...wow, was it hard!
Icing does not = glue.
Fondant does not = tasty.
Red and green glittery sprinkles get everywhere. Everywhere.
But I still list the task as as a joy, and here's why:

(Oliver was SO excited to show Daddy his new antlers, he fell asleep in them!)
37. stockings. I mean, they ARE stockings! And there's two!
38. the dusting of snow on the ground this morning as I drove the kids to school.
39. Enchiladas being delivered for dinner!
40. buying the LAST Christmas presents (and having them be perfect!).
41. buying them while in my pajamas, shopping on-line.
42. getting them delivered to the lucky recipient for free.
