philosophizing

The following is a conversation I now have with Oliver at least five times a day.
It comes up randomly, about anything we're discussing at the moment.Today it happened to be Miss Janine, our tumbling teacher.
Time to brush up on my knowledge of the solar system.

O: "Mama, where Miss Janine*?"
A: "Um, maybe she's on vacation, buddy."
O: "Where's bacashun?"
A: "Um...the beach."
O: "Where the beach?"
A: "New Jersey."
O: "Where Noo Jessy?"
A: "in the United States"
O: "Where yoo-nigh sayys?"
A: "Um, North America"
O: "Where 'merka?"
A: "On Earth."
O: "Where earf?"
A: "In the solar system."
O: "where sole sysem?"
A: "In the Milky Way"
(this is where I get a little lost myself....)
O: "Where milky way?"
A: "Um, in the universe."

Eventually, I just start saying "to Infinity", and then Ollie says, "Oh. Like 'To infinity and beyond'?", to which I respond "EXACTLY!".
