with an egg hunt!

I'm pretty sure this will be the extent of our Easter Bunny photo this year..sadly! Everyone was really patient in waiting for the bunny to arrive, but after 20 minutes (the costume didn't fit, they had to switch people out, etc...), it was too much. They were excited when they saw the giant rabbit, and even approached him (Oliver telling him a detailed story about the wait), but NO ONE would sit with him. After waiting that long, they wanted to RUN. Oh, well.
We had a great time yesterday with the cousins, celebrating Grammy's birthday! Violet, having skipped her nap and played super-hard at the party, had fallen asleep on our way home. I STUPIDLY tried to give her a quick bath when we got inside (it was a muddy day!), and she was so tired, she fell over and hit her mouth on the tub-on the track where the shower door used to be. HORRIFYING. Blood everywhere. I brought her downstairs, bleeding all over me and sobbing. I couldn't get the bleeding to stop, nor could I get her to hold still to try to put pressure on her mouth. Finally, I realized that the frenulum had been torn. Poor baby! We finally got it to stop bleeding whe she calmed down (thank you again, Baby Einstein!), and today she's good, with only a slight fat upper lip.Whew.
