some light reading before we left for the museum

I apologize for not posting as often as I should. So much is happening, but it's hard to sit down and write about it all!
First, everyone is healthy (today). Violet never got Roseola, or any virus for that matter, from her brother- hooray!
Last weekend, we went to the Please Touch Museum. It was AMAZING!! I'm posting some shots from our fun day. We already can't wait to go back!

Some funny things happening lately:

1. We've caught Violet reading several books. She can read ALL of "Peek-a-Who?"- and I mean out loud. Not that anyone would understand her but Ben and I (and Violet), but she's saying it. So adorable.

2. Oliver is obsessed with sitting in chairs- adult chairs. He climbs up, and just sits there, sometimes bringing a book with him to read. We really hope to find him a kid-sized chair, because he loves it.

3. They are becoming more into each other. They love chasing each other around, and sometimes one baby will even go in for a hug (almost always rebuffed, sadly).

4. Violet has some serious biting issues. I'm trying hard to nip this one in the bud, but she doesn't understand (yet!). What makes it worse is that Oliver sticks his (chubby, delicious) arm as close to her mouth as possible, tempting her. So, do I say "No bite!" to Peanut, or "No arm!" to Ollie?

We're on our way to see Santa this evening. We've been studying the photo from last year, trying to learn who Santa is, but I'm still betting we end up with at least one frightened baby.
