LOVE

Just a short check-in here! Everyone is almost over their colds (me included!) and I think we are no worse for the wear. We officially have a walker: Ollie! He is taking many steps on his own now, and is extremely proud of himself!! I'm afraid he'll be running before we know it!


I try to be very even-steven about photos on this blog, but I had a couple of great ones of Violet that I had to get on here. So, I added a mediocre one of Oliver, just to make myself feel better. helping mama with laundry!

Oliver is eating "Ollie Fries"; these french fries that are shaped like big, round, bald smiley faces that Grampa introduced us to. Too funny.

I'm also adding some photos of the other twins in our family, just for the heck of it! From youngest to oldest:

Ben's cousin Matthew has two darling twin girls, Ruby and Laurel. They are sisters to Avery, who was at our wedding, if anyone remembers the beautiful blonde baby that little Ava befriended on the dance floor? Anyhow, I believe Ruby and Laurel will be 3 this winter?
This is a photo of Abby and Jessica (or Jessica and Abby?), who are the daughters of my cousin, Bill. They are so sweet, but are much older than this photo now! 18, I think and wonderful girls!
Finally, we have the two bookends in this photo: my Oma, my father's mother's mother (got that?) and her twin sister: Christine and, well, this is awful- but I think it's either Clara or Berta (which is the name of our mini-van, so would be PERFECT). Does anyone know what poor Oma's twin's name is?? Anyhow, they look identical to me!


There is one more set of twins that we know of; my mom's father's father was a twin. Harold, and, again, nameless twin. And no photo. I KNOW Aunt Sandy will know this one! :)
