comedy for parents

How do moms and dads make themselves laugh? No, there's no time for Will Ferrell movies or a round of charades with friends. In our free time, THIS set of parents march their babies around a mini-golf course set up to look like a small-scale Philadelphia, and pose them in each of the putt-putt stops. It's especially hilarious if you have an extra-large son who will mimic Rocky Balboa running (or crawling) up the steps of the Art Museum.
This was also the first time the babies have been in the grass- they were so funny to watch. We figured they'd eat it immediately, but mostly they just touched it and tried to grab at it. They also liked riding the carousel with mommy, although they were more interested in the handicapped stickers on the sides of the bench than the horses, lights, music or motion. Mommy had fun though!
Lastly- daddy passed his licensing exam! Wa-hoo! Scarily, this means he will be back at work full-time and far way starting on Monday, and it's me and the babes all day, every day. We've been so blessed to have Ben home for the first 10 months of the babies' lives, and we may be in for a shock without his help!
