I feel like we're starting to say this every month, but...I can't believe it's been eight months since the babies were born! WOW! We had a tough time with the photos this month- they really want to eat each other and/or the sign. Ollie looks like he's waiting on the wharf, ready to go out on the fishing boat. Violet's cute pants are supposed to be knickers, but reach her ankles. I love them so much!
Here are our latest accomplishments:
Both Oliver and Violet can sit up (woo-hoo!) on their own (as Ollie demonstrates in the photo above). They are so close to crawling- Violet rolls everywhere (and FAST!), and Oliver rocks back and forth on his hands and knees, and goes backwards pretty well. I'm in NO rush for the crawling to begin! Oliver suddenly started clapping the other day, something I read isn't supposed to happen for another few months (yes, I'm boasting already...). Both babies are babbling a lot- consonants, raspberries, you name it! It is so cute. They've both moved into their "big baby" car seats (as you can see in the photo)- it really shows how big they've gotten! It will make travel just a little more difficult, but we'll figure it out.
