what a wonderful Christmas we had! we celebrated on Christmas Eve with Aimee's family; everyone was kind enough to come to our house (so thoughtful considering the Thanksgiving fiasco), and we had our traditional Chinese food dinner. The babies were so, so GOOD! They loved seeing everyone and helped to open their presents, and even joined in the carol singing....ok, no. But, they were unbelievably well-behaved, thanks to our good friend Baby Einstein, and to cousin Ava for much entertainment. It was probably the best time we've had with them in such a social situation. O and V also tried sweet potatoes for the first time! they LOVED them, and I hope we haven't ruined all cereal and formula for them....Peas will be next!
on Christmas day, Ben's brother, Adam, and his girlfriend Dana took the train in from NYC. The babies had a tougher time that day...who knows why? Just generally cranky, but nothing too tough for us. All in all it was a wonderful Christmas, and we're a little to sad to have it over with. There is something very special about your babies' first holiday!
