for her whole life, until last month, Violet despised band-aids. even with the worst boo-boos, no band-aids were tolerated. suddenly, with no explanation, she's obsessed with them.

Our visit to a toy store, and V's fascination with cows. I love the black & white dog thrown akimbo in the background, like he had tried to fool her into letting him join the cow mob, and she had to toss him away for it.

Violet leaves her mark.

we went to Cracker Barrel  (Crackle Berry as the kids call it), and I let O & V choose a toy from the 'general store' section. Ollie chose a yo yo, Violet chose salt & pepper shakers, which, apparently, like to eat ketchup as much as she does.

Please don't ask why there was a roll of toilet paper left in Oliver's bedroom ...it's a long explanation about stuffy noses and softness of tissues. Needless to say, I will never *not* remember to remove it from his room again....
