If I had to sum up my days with the babies in a photo, this would be it. Not all laughs of course, but messy craziness, with both babies going in opposite directions!

A recap of our holidays so far, since I've only been able to keep up with photos until now! We had a great time, all four of us this year. Everyone was healthy, Ben had a few days off of work, and we got to spend time with my family. The babies got so many wonderful gifts from family, friends and Santa- we are so blessed to have such generosity and love in our lives!
The babies are really, really busy now (do I write that on every post?). A few days before Christmas, I tried taking them to the mall for a last quick shop. I was smart- came equipped with lots of snacks, books, toys. Traded the side-by-side stroller for the front-and-back (from experience- no fighting over toys, cup holders, easier to get in stores....). Arrived at 8am- yes, 8. We started out well, the mall was empty, snack cups overflowing. Then, Peanut scammed me. As I've mentioned, she has been very clingy lately, just wants to be close and snuggle. So when she started reaching and saying "up, up!". I thought I could carry her for a bit and calm her down. Wrong. She didn't want "up"; she wanted "out", and promptly wriggled out of my arms, and into the Gap. Of course, Ollie sees this and wants to be part of the fun. So I took them over to the huge Christmas tree which is in a big open space, and let them run around a bit. Fast forward ahead 15 minutes, I am drenched with sweat, wrestling with Oliver to get him back in the stroller while trying to still watch Violet as she's in Talbots, throwing socks off of the display table. This was my last trip to the mall unaccompanied. Whew!

We were given a membership to the Please Touch Museum for Christmas, and went there on Saturday- again, the babes LOVED it; ran around like crazy, played with everything- it is an amazing place.

It was 65 degrees on Sunday, so we all went to the park- so beautiful, and so nice to be outside!

Finally, in case there was any doubt to Violet's future career as a circus performer, I'm posting the video below. Ben told me one day she had attempted to stand on the rocking horse and I assumed he was exaggerating; he was not.
