How much more can I love these babies? I am enjoying my days so, so much, and am so grateful that Ben works as hard as he does, so I can stay home with the twins. Fourteen months is such a wonderful age! They are so curious about everything, and absorb things I don't even realize at the time.

Here are some of our latest highlights:

* Oliver is talking on the phone. He has a play cell phone and he holds it on his shoulder and says, "Hi! hi!". This is a good example of something I had no idea he'd picked up. I rarely talk on the phone, and when I do, I almost always use the ear piece (Ben and I don't even own a landline anymore!). Last night, I was feeding them, and my cell phone rang (not even a ring, but a Gnarls Barkley song...) and Oliver noticed it and picked his veggie pop up and held it to his ear to say hello. He's a comedian already.

* Peanut can take her clothes off. No, really- that's a talent! Pulls her socks, pants off and throws them. Not sure why, but very cute.

* Both babies play alone for long periods of time- this has been so cool to watch! Oliver has learned to play with this toy we have where you put the balls into the holes, and it makes music, etc., and he will play for a good 15 minutes here. Violet will sit with a book on the sofa, studying it for so long; turns the pages, touches them. I love watching them watch how things work.
