Happy November to all! All is going well in the Sheaffer household. The babies had their four-month-old well visit at the pediatrician, and everyone is healthy and thriving! This past weekend we made our first trip out as a family with no tears. Wa-hoo! Granted, it was only to the grocery store, but this is a two hour event with us, along with a pit stop for a feeding, and a 15 minute car ride each way, so it was a small victory. Oliver and Violet were a big hit at the store; now that they're riding in their stroller they receive much more attention from passers-by. It's funny how friendly people become around twins- we always relish the conversation, because we are so very proud. O and V were happy to share smiles with most of the other shoppers, and mommy and daddy beamed through the store.

Our big boy!! We've gotten so many smiles lately- and one in the car seat is an especially new and exciting thing! And he LOVES his new orange sneaker-socks from cousin Trevor.
Baby Violet is being recruited for the newest Cirque du Soleil show and is busy practicing her acrobatic skills in the meantime. We walked in one evening and she was flipping her legs up in the air and inching her way down (and probably out of, if we hadn't noticed!) her boppy seat. Needless to say, we will be employing the seat strap from now on.
