The twins have discovered each other!! What an amazing thing to see. It first happened on October 2nd, and poor Mommy was home alone with no one to cry with. The three of them were having a feeding together, when suddenly Violet and Oliver locked eyes. Violet was fussing, and Ollie took it as a conversation opener; he smiled at her and cooed back to her. She noticed him, and they cooed and smiled for about 20 seconds! Mommy laughed and cried at the same time. It has hit us now that not only will they be interacting, they will be each other's best friend...at least for a while.
When Daddy came home, we were able to sort of capture it on video. Since they're our children, you'll hear burps and other bodily functions interjected throughout the dialogue. ENJOY!
They're probably discussing Phillies chances in the post-season. Or maybe they're swapping diaper-rash stories. Either way, they sure can talk, can't they?
ReplyDeleteOh, and Oliver agreed to run as Violet's VP in the 2052 elections. After Oliver's long and illustrious career as linebacker of the Packers, shortstop for the Brewers, his role as commissioner of baseball and football (at the same time no less!!) and Violet's successful career as mayor of Philadelphia, governor of Pennsylvania and of course her time at La Scala, The Met and the Bayreuth they will finally live under the same roof again (with less crying this time...hopefully)
